How Is A Cheekbone Operation Carried Out?

Although it is not one of the most numerous cosmetic surgery operations, the truth is that the cheekbone operation is already a classic in this field. Its objective is to provide further voluptuousness to our faces. A much sexier and more striking face thanks to a simple operation called pomuloplasty. But not only is this operation aimed at adding cheekbones. Due to genetic inheritance, some people have to go through the hands of a specialist for reconstruction in this part of the face due to some disease or accident.

Cheek silicone surgery (เสริม ซิ ลิ โคน ร่อง แก้ม which is the term in Thai) can be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia and sedation. An anesthetic is applied to the cheekbone, and a painkiller is administered to keep the patient relaxed. This time we will focus on increasing the cheekbones’ size, which is undoubtedly the star request in this type of intervention. And it can be done in two ways. Either by artificial implants or prostheses or thanks to fat grafting.

If the client decides to perform a cheek operation using artificial implants, these will be introduced through a series of incisions inside the mouth or through the lower eyelids. Later, the incision is saturated with a material that our body absorbs without any problem and is protected with a bandage. And on the other hand, there is the possibility of performing a cheekbone operation through fat grafting.

How Is It Performed?

These grafts that come from other parts of our body, such as the hip or abdomen, are injected to modify the contour of our face. When the fat is removed, the areas must be cleaned to eliminate substances and dirt that may have remained, which could harm our body.

And although it is not the most popular, you can also reduce cheekbones. Some people have them very prominent or who, despite losing weight, cannot reduce their size. This cheekbone operation is performed thanks to filing the malar bone. The face swells but decreases as the days go by.
