How we write our guides

Each guide starts from one real question, such as how much collagen to take or how to start retinol without peeling, and tries to answer it fully on one page.

Our sources

  • Randomised trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses for claims about supplements and active ingredients.
  • Guidance from public bodies and medical organisations, such as the US National Institutes of Health, MedlinePlus, the American Academy of Dermatology and teaching hospitals.
  • Product rules come from regulators such as the FDA and national food safety authorities.

Drafting and checking

We use AI writing software to help with research notes and first drafts. A person then rewrites each page, checks every number and claim against its source, removes anything that cannot be confirmed, and tests the tools on real examples. Where the evidence is weak or mixed, the page says so in plain words.

What we leave out

No brand names, no prices, no before and after photos and no promises. The routine builder, collagen dose calculator and ingredient pairing checker run in your browser and store nothing.
